Abstract
Supply chain resilience represents an organization’s capability to anticipate, adapt and recover from disruptions while maintaining stable performance in an organization. The global supply network has been becoming more unpredictable in recent years due to trade shocks, pandemics and geopolitical tension. The impact of supply chain resilience on organizational performance across industries is examined in this study through a systematic assessment of literature with the focus on lessons applicable to emerging economies. Key elements of supply chain resilience include adoption of digital technology, agility, risk management culture, calibration, resilience and integration. The PRISMA framework and bibliometric mapping (VOS viewer) are used in the paper to synthesize 55 peer-reviewed studies. Findings reveal that supply chain resilience enhances organizational adaptability, competitiveness and recovery speed, while limited empirical research in developing contexts highlights a significant gap. In addition to providing strategic and managerial implications for creating resilient supply chains, this study contributes by combining several supply chain resilience elements into a single framework.
